Kun Khmer X USA took place in Siem Reap on March 28, 2025, with four friendly pairings and one championship-belt contest.

The following day, overseas fighters visited Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm with historians and archaeologists to study carvings that depict Khmer combat movements and martial traditions.

Promoting Kun Khmer means more than bringing foreign athletes into the ring. When visiting fighters understand the history, context and expected cultural respect, they can return home as better informed ambassadors for the Cambodian sport.
