The Cambodian Khmer Boxing Federation and Kombat Taekwondo announced plans for a professional cage-fighting series combining Kun Khmer with taekwondo, mixed martial arts, jiu-jitsu and karate.

The project is expected to begin in Cambodia before any broader international rollout. A multi-style format could create new opportunities for fighters, but it will also require clear rules, qualified officials and strong medical safeguards.
